Binance Web3 Wallet adds inscriptions marketplace, supports ERC-404

Binance has announced updates to its Web3 Wallet, including introducing an Inscriptions Marketplace and support for ERC-404 tokens.

The updates are part of Binance’s effort to enrich the decentralized web experience by facilitating fractionalized NFT collections and simplifying asset management.

The expansion of the Web3 Wallet ecosystem now encompasses the integration of 24 new decentralized applications (dApps) and five new networks, reinforcing Binance’s commitment to a dynamic and comprehensive ecosystem.

Among the advancements is the support for ERC-404 tokens, which facilitate fractionalized NFT collections by combining the ERC-20 and ERC-721 standards, eliminating the need for intermediaries.

The introduction of the ERC-404 token, exemplified by Pandora’s success, suggests a growing interest in innovative tokenization methods.

For users with semi-custody wallets, Binance is offering an upgrade to full self-custody wallets, emphasizing the importance of user autonomy and security.

Additionally, Binance is hosting an exclusive Inscriptions Marketplace Airdrop from Feb. 22 to Apr. 3, allowing participants to share in over $1 million worth of rewards.
